MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Stephany Acosta

Stephany received her personal training certification at the Cooper Institute in Dallas Texas. She has since furthered her education by receiving certifications in Biomechanics, Functional Fitness Training, Dietary Guidance and Master Fitness Training. She has been in the industry for 15 years and has had the opportunity to work with all fitness levels from overweight people to figure and triathlon competitors.

After working with some of the best trainers in the business, Stephany decided to open her own health and wellness company and help those in the corporate world find balance in their health and wellness. Her fitness background is in Track & Field and Hip Hop Dance. When you get to workout with Miss Stephany, you will understand why her motto is to “Get worked out. Get results and Get Lifted!”

Fitness Program Director

Tryston Mizerak

Tryston Received his personal training certification through the American Council of Exercise. After being an athlete from a young age all the way through the collegiate ranks, training and fitness became a huge priority to him. His experience with training comes from strength & conditioning, HIIT circuits and full body style workouts. He wanted to pursue training as an opportunity to help others achieve their health and fitness goals.

He feels his biggest accomplishment is helping others realize they can overcome difficult obstacles with encouragement and self confidence. His rule for training and life is- “Life doesn’t require that we be the best, only that we try our best.” He is a former football player from Texas State University where he got his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. When you train with Tryston, you’ll wanna be part of his winning team!

Assistant Manager/Senior Trainer

Zoe Valentin

Zoe enjoyed playing sports as a kid, primarily soccer. During one of her games she had an injury and it forced her to learn how to rehab herself. After feeling how good it felt to work on her weak parts, she felt that she wanted to help others feel better about themselves. Zoe graduated from college with her Bachelors in Kinesiology. She is also XPS Performance Coach certified. She trained at EXOS with athletes ranging from High School Sports to NFL Athletes to Retired Athletes. She also worked with her high school girls soccer team whom she played with for all in high school.

Zoe wants to help all clients not just look good but also feel good about their energy levels, mobility, and mental well being. She believes that encouraging and pushing your self past your comfort zone you will reach a better version of your self. When you train with Zoe, you’ll see her passion for helping and connecting with people while also breaking a sweat!

Head Trainer

Travon Barber

Travon’s fitness journey began with his love for sports, excelling in football, basketball, and track. In college, he combined his passion for movement and curiosity about the mind by studying Psychology before switching to Kinesiology to focus on how the body works. Since graduating from SFASU in 2019, Travon has brought his expertise and high energy to bootcamps, one-on-one training, small groups, kickboxing, and partner workouts.

His motto, “Get Right by Any Means!” reflects his commitment to helping clients crush their goals. A Kansas City native and proud Chiefs fan, Travon’s enthusiasm is contagious both in and out of the gym. He also dabbles in standup comedy, so don’t hesitate to share your best jokes during a session! When you train with Travon, you’ll feel unstoppable—just like the momentum at Elevate Fitness, lifting you to new weights!

Ruben Martinez

Ruben brings a unique blend of athletic grit, real-life resilience, and deep passion for performance training to the Elevate Fitness team. A lifelong athlete, Ruben grew up immersed in sports—competing in football, track, and cross country. His early dreams of going pro were abruptly redirected when a serious health challenge during his first semester of college forced him to rebuild from the ground up. That experience didn’t slow him down—it ignited a fire. Ruben dove headfirst into understanding the science of movement, recovery, and mental toughness. Today, he’s a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through ISSA, equipped with CPR and AED credentials, and is known for his ability to connect with youth and adult athletes alike.

Whether he's coaching young competitors chasing scholarships or adults looking to move better and feel stronger, Ruben brings intensity, purpose, and heart to every session. His mission is simple but powerful: to help others unlock their potential and train not just harder—but smarter. If you're ready to work with someone who’s been in the trenches and come out stronger, Ruben is your coach.

Aminah Toor

Mia Toor is a certified ISSA Master Trainer and 500-hour Master Yoga Instructor with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry. A lifelong athlete with a background in sports, dance, and martial arts, Mia brings a powerful blend of discipline, mobility, and mindfulness to every session.

She specializes in corrective exercise, athletic performance, and yoga-based movement, helping clients build strength, move pain-free, and feel more confident in their bodies. Her approach is rooted in functional training and intentional movement—designed to meet each client where they are and elevate them to where they want to be.

Outside of the studio, Mia loves live music, fishing, and hiking—anything that reconnects her to movement and nature. She’s passionate about helping others thrive and brings both professionalism and warmth to everything she does.
